Re: Bible Analyzer 5.3 Beta (Windows)

The default Verdana font does not have that character and a few others, however other font sets, such as Segoe UI, does have it. You can change the default font in Preferences. There is not much that can be done about the high DPI issue until the toolkit developers provide the feature. Progress can ...

Re: Rearranging modules

It's hard to tell what caused the crash. Each flavor of Linux has its own quirks and peculiarities. I have never tried PlayOnLinux.

Re: BA on Ubuntu Mate 18.04

Robert, I am working on the 5.3 Linux edition and may be able to work around the blue color issue. GTK3, which was introduced with 18.04 has caused some other issues. One of the main ones is RTL display of Hebrew texts. They made a change in GTK3 that the platform Bible Analyzer uses (wxWidgets/wxPy...

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.3 Beta (Windows)

No, not yet. It is the underlying toolkit (wxPython) that controls the display resolution but the wx developers are working on it from what I understand.

Re: Best Unicode fonts to use with BA

Fonts are pretty much up to personal preference. We use the Galaxie Unicode fonts primarily in Bible Analyzer. We even ship them with the two Word Study Bundles. They have a pretty complete character set and render Hebrew and Greek characters uniformly.

Re: missing appendix numbers in Companion Bible.

The appendix section numerals are in the 1909 edition but not on our digital edition becAuse they are so small in the print the OCR software couldn't recognize them. They would all have to be manually typed in, which we didn't have time to do.

Bible Analyzer 5.3 Beta (Windows)

The beta setup file is here, http://www.bibleanalyzer.com/bibleanalyzer530-setup.exe It is best to use the Portable install method to put all the files under one folder. That way it won't mess up an existing Bible Analyzer installation. This setup includes the timing data for the Daniel Wagner KJV a...

Re: Dake Commentary - Can't find Reference

That article is there, just under slightly different word case ("Twenty-one" vs "Twenty-One") and it didn't get linked. Type "fallen" in the Dictionary/DakeT entry box and it will come up.
