The IDX tab shows the topics of each book where the active/current verse is found. Those topics happen to be verse references in the TSKe. To see popups of the verse itself instead of the location of the verse within the listed topic, use the TSKe tab instead.

Enter in the Search Range,

You can enter a verse or range in the Entry.

or
Joh 3:5-Act 3:16

You can only search the active note set as "Notes," but you can convert your other note sets to commentaries and search them as such. Then when you update your notes just update the commentary with them.

This adds an extra step but makes it possible.

Are you using the latest release version 5.6.1.04? I thought we had the return in Spad issue fixed with it.

Try selecting within the text, like this,

The Insert copy method should copy the entire verse range of any selected text. Say you select some text from somewhere inside John 1:1 and stop somewhere inside verse 1:5 and then press the insert key. It should copy the entire vs 1 to the entire vs 10 into ScripturePad.
