Re: Bible Analyzer 5 Linux Beta

Ubuntu 16.04, though very nice, came out with a major bug. The software center would not install third party software. However, I could install with the Debi package manager. I tried 4.7, 4.9, and 5.0, but either the version did not install or would not open. However, promises were made that the bug...

Re: KJV and Tudor Music

Suzanne Haik-Vantoura has set out the actual melodies of the Hebrew Bible based on an interpretation of Masoretic pointing. Her position cannot be verified definitively, but it certainly looks good. Her work is well worth the investigation. Here is a link to some Hebrew text with original melodies i...

Re: The Roman Jesus in "Son of God"

I just checked Amazon.com and St. Henry Garnet II rosary beads can be purchased for $75. He was the Jesuit Superior convicted of masterminding the Gunpowder Plot, an attempt to blow up all of Parliament while King James was visiting, in order to reestablish a Catholic monarchy in England and stop th...

Re: Bible Analyzer 5 Linux Beta

Sorry, I do not understand how to install it. So, I'll wait. I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 and have no interest in trying 15.04 or 15.10. So maybe, I'll wait for 16.04.

Re: How to use Bible Analyzer

To answer your question on how to use BA to assist making sermons, first one would have to know, in general, what is your philosophy for writing sermons. I certainly do not use any of the ideas set out in the main textbook on preaching at the seminary I attended. However, I'll take a stab at answeri...

How to Use Shopping Cart

I thought I would buy the Burgon collection to see how these works read in BA. (Always trying a new format can really change how a work is understood). So I clicked into the Shopping Cart. It looks like I can then just click PayPal, and then go to the download. But there is also 1. Account, as if I ...

1873 Cambridge KJV

Here is an interesting quote on the Cambridge KJV from a post in a Baptist forum found at this link -- http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=73441 The 1873 KJV is one of the most highly praised and acclaimed editions ever printed by Cambridge. KJV defender Edward Hills noted: "In the 19t...
