Re: Popups not Poping up

Most errors also get logged in /var/adm/Xorg.log (or /var/log or similar directory name). Check your log directory for X's log. I also suggest posting on Mint's forum to see if others had similar issues with wxPython pop-ups in KDE (or, google for similar issues, it's probably something that's come ...

Re: passworded archives?

I don't use ubuntu. I use slackware. Ubuntu uses .deb archives, so those would just need the debian/ubuntu installer 'apt' or 'aptitude' (or, in my case, I extract the files and install them where I want them manually). I have installed BA in my homedir, not the system dir (and edited the python fil...

passworded archives?

Took a look at the modules and saw a few new ones so I downloaded them, and see they are now Makeself .run archives, that require passwords? Where do I find the password? These are listed as free modules.

The windows .exe's do not require passwords. I'm confused.

Re: Linux/Ubuntu 4.6.5 Beta

Just installed the beta, and I can resize the prefs dialog so I can see the whole texts (I think that was a problem for me in the 4.5.5 version.)

Still need to add the resize option for the module creation tools.

So far so good otherwise :)

Re: Converter doesn't work with Apocrypha?

Sorry for the long delay in replying, I had 2 hard drives go kaput.

I was converting the DRV (and a few other bibles with apocrypha) from e-sword modules. Haven't tried any other formats.

Re: Linux/Ubuntu 4.5 Beta

Just a minor note, it would be helpful to say in the manual, that one needs to have the 'results' window open to see the 'dual' view mode (or maybe have the result window pop open when one clicks on the 'dual' button, for the dense people like me who don't get how to work it right away :) That threw...

Thank you, and also a huge thanks, and praise Jesus for your work, for making a Linux / open source bible reader.

May your mission be blessed.

Converter doesn't work with Apocrypha?

Hi,

Just tried converting a copy of the DRB (Douay-Rheims) and it does not appear to have the Apocrypha. Is this a "feature" of the converter, or just not implemented to allow apocrypha to follow over during the conversion process?

or maybe I did something incorrectly?

Thanks

Parellel View Quickly toggle bibles on/off

Hi all :) Probably been suggested already, but a quick search on "parallel" did not see any topic about this kind of feature: It would be very helpful to have a way to toggle bibles on/off quickly inside the parallel view window (I know I can select different bibles elsewhere, or have mult...
